Black Langshan bantams are the most common variety shown today. They are exhibited in the Feather-Legged Bantam class. Admitted to the APA standard in 1960 Langshans have a unique U-shape that sets them apart from other feather legged breeds. Their green sheen makes them very attractive in the showroom and they are great layers although we have noticed some of the hens tend to go broody a little quicker than other breeds.
